The Berczy Settlers Heritage Tour provides an insight into the history of Markham’s Founder, William Berczy, and showcases a few of Markham’s favourite heritage sites.Along the way, you’ll drive through some of Markham’s most attractive agricultural land and learn about the 64 families that followed Berczy from Hamburg, Germany through Pennsylvania to New York State and finally on to Markham where they settled in 1794.
