Milton Fierheller House 95

Community Heritage Estates
Year Constructed:  1875
Address: 22 David Gohn Circle
Research credit: Heritage Markham, Doors Open Markham
The Fierhellers were among the first Pennsylvania German settlers who came to Markham in the late 1790’s. John Jr. Fierheller purchased the land on which this home was built in 1834.

This house, built in the Gothic Revival style, features a unique double gable with gothic pointed windows on the front façade. The second gable appears to be a later addition resulting in an asymmetrical effect. Originally located on the west side of Woodbine Avenue, in Buttonville, the house was built for Milton Fierheller and his family.
