Major (Lexington ?) Mackenzie was a major in the first world war. He was the MPP for York and maybe part of Metro Toronto for years and years until 1976. He was the longest serving MPP when he retired. He would have been about 80 at that time.He represented Vaughan, Richmond Hill, and Markham, but at one time he represented all of what is now the Region of York.
