Originally, this Provincial Georgian home was built for Terrance McKenna, an early school teacher, in 1845. Later, it was lived in by Dr. ROC. Tefft, a local veterinarian and Reeve of the village in 1900. Thereafter, it became a double dwelling, the south half being home to Robert Quantz, a shoemaker.
