Architectural Attributes
Once located on the west side of Highway # 48, north of 16th Avenue, this Gothic Revival style house was constructed by Christian Raymer in 1871. The full width verandah supports a second story balcony, which has been restored to its original appearance. An unusual feature is the ‘widow’s peak’ or plain pediment, which forms the front centre gable.
