This is an important cemetery for the Peter Reesor family who settled in Cedar Grove in 1804. Peter’s wife and son, who died in Lewiston on their way home from a visit to Pennsylvania, were the first to be buried here. Peter traveled by horse and sleigh to Lewiston in the winter to bring their bodies back to the family farm.
