This early 19th Century Georgian style frame house was constructed for Richard Gapper, a Tory supporter with social connections to the Family Compact.  
Architectural Attributes
Originally located on Yonge Street this dwelling was moved a first time, in the late 1950’s, so Duncan Avenue, and then a second time to its present location. The two story house has a large tent-roofed verandah that gives the house a Regency flavour.
